Sail Connecticut River, Imagine Adriaen Block, ‘Onrust’ Voyage

Note: Cruises available Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Cost is $28; child $12. Sunset cruises, $33 all ages (imagine the sunset seen from the river). Binoculars provided for viewing scenic views, wildlife, bald eagles; you can also bring your own. Pair with a visit to the CT River Museum, walking around Essex (many shops), stop by The Griswold Inn for lunch, dinner, brunch; wine and cheese. Private and corporate charters available. Events coming up include the third annual Connecticut River Museum Paddle Regatta is Saturday, Aug. 10. Open to canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). There is also a two-hour paddle (price includes your vessel, a laminated map to show you the best spots to paddle, Personal Flotation Device; plus admission to the museum is only $5 with price of paddle.)
